Los Angeles: Everyone loves to hate Wal-Mart for both rational and irrational reasons. As you might expect, I can't stand the place, but one ought to get the facts straight before calling out the lynch mob.

The LA Times has put together an excellent series of exposes on all things Wal-Mart, showcasing both the good and the bad, but ultimately agreeing that regardless of your opinion, Wal-Mart is having a truly historic effect on the entire world that merits monitoring and reaction.
