SF Bike Plan

San Francisco: The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition is one of the best organized cycling groups in the world, and is also one of the most politically active.

They are almost done with a comprehensive city-wide bicycling plan that, if implemented completely, would make SF one of the most cycling-friendly cities on the continent. I'm not sure how that's measured, but it's a good thing. The plan itself is meticulously detailed and suggested something like 2,700 improvements. It's a great example to follow.
