Renewable Energy = Jobs

Category: Environment

Berkeley: In an article straight from the annals of Natural Capitalism, Berkeley's Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory has issued a report tying job growth directly to the universal adoption of renewable sources for energy. "Because Fuel Cell Capital of the World Sounds a lot Better than Rust Belt" is one of the slogans driving the "Apollo Project", a push for a government investment on the scale of the moon landing project of the 1960s to eliminate fossil fuels in favor of renewable energy. Not only is it possible, but the economic payoff is greater than doing nothing. See the Apollo Alliance for details.
