San Francisco:Well, the idea is really common sense, but the fact that this long-awaited plan is finally nearing completion is pure brilliance.

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is a commuter rail system that fans out from downtown San Francisco and Oakland. It's one of the nicer transit systems out there, boasting (slightly dirty) upholstered seats and a funky Buck Rogers 70's design you can't help but love. Unfortunately, due to budget constraints and bureaucracy, the train has never been extended to one of it's most potentially useful destinations, San Francisco Airport. Until now. After years of planning and billions of dollars the first test train rolled into the airport a few months ago, and if all goes according to plan, passengers will be able to board at the airport in January. Too bad for the taxi lobby!
