London City Airport Extension

Category: Aviation , Transit , Urban Planning

London: One of London's best kept secrets is London City Airport, a brilliant shortcut for air-travelers heading to the continent. LCY is already faster to get to from east London than most of the other airports, but you have to switch to an annoying shuttle bus at Caning Town. That problem is now being solved.

The Docklands Light Railway is being extended to reach the Airport. Of course, we'll have to wait till at least 2005 to be able to use it, but at least it's moving forward.
