Cell Phone Tube Maps

Category: Internet , Transit

London: Finally, something truly useful for fancy mobile phones: Downloadable tube maps, in full color, that you can use to navigate the system. Other cities [Paris] already have this system for PDAs, but putting it on a phone is a lot more convenient. [London link here]

Unfortunately, this is a "trial" product that you ultimately have to pay for, but maybe some charitable individual will create a free one. Worse, I'm still not willing to shell out $500 for a new phone to make this work, but it's still a pretty neat idea.

BOFH Excuse #370:

Virus due to computers having unsafe sex.
prozac online I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me,
And what can be the use of him is more than I can see.
He is very, very like me from the heels up to the head;
And I see him jump before me, when I jump into my bed.

The funniest thing about him is the way he likes to grow--
Not at all like proper children, which is always very slow;
For he sometimes shoots up taller, like an india-rubber ball,
And he sometimes gets so little that there's none of him at all.
