Wow. That really is awesome. I hope they can add a lot of cities. It seems a little sparse right now, although a great start.

Neat! Too bad it doesn't help plan trips for the Bay Area (yet).

Trip planners are work well when all the goofs are worked out. The Bay Area's transit trip planner hasn't really worked out well because it puts every mode of transit in the same format: Start at x location, walk to X location, board X line, pay x fare, get off at x location, walk to x location, board x line, pay x fare or show x pass/transfer to drver, get off at x location, walk to x location, end at x location. It just doesn't work that way in reality for every mode of transit.
