Crown Fountain - Chicago

Category: Design

Chicago: Millenium Park in Chicago, with it's Frank Gehry designed amphitheatre as the prime attraction, is pretty darn cool. But the neatest thing I saw there is a fountain by Spanish sculptor Jaume Plensa that consists of two enormous towers of glass blocks behind which gigantic video screens show peoples' faces.

In the summer, there is water running in front of the faces to create an even more intersting and dramatic vista. But even without water, these giant faces are incredible to behold with the loop's skyscrapers as a backdrop. Check it out.
